Such a fluffy story! Absolutely perfect for when you need a stress reliever. (I might be saying this from experience...)
This was super cute, with some humor. I love stories about people for whom magic is the mundane, and I really liked the childish pettiness of the witches, old and young. It was somehow endearing rather than annoying. Maybe because I wasn't the babysitter?
A cute story, but in the end it really was a piece of fluff. Still this series may have potential as a lite and fluffy 2017 summer read.
This is a simple light hearted story. Great read for any teens feeling like they don't belong.
This was an adorable story filled with young witches creating chaos at a birthday party. Short, simple, and delightfully silly!
"Coming of age" curtinho e muito divertido. Passa uma boa vibe Sabrina da Nickelodeon. Recomendo e está de graça no site da Tor.
That Seriously Obnoxious Time I Was Stuck at Witch Rimelda's One Hundredth Birthday Party is about a non-witch attending a witch's birthday party and if the title didn't give it away, I don't know what will. I didn't really much care about it at the start but it had a nice ending. Chaos-driving witches getting a taste of their own medicine. It was supposed to be humorous and I guess I could see why people would find it funny, I didn't think it was funny but it was okay in end.2.5 stars
Originally posted at; http://thebookplank.blogspot.com/2015...What caught my attention of this story was the title, I read some stories previously that had similar playful and funny titles that proved a whole lot of fun. Now I am not familiar with the series of Seriously Wicked but didn't let that stop me from reading this story. That Seriously Obnoxious Time tells how awful Camellia is experiencing the birthday of a friend of Sarmine. The Witch who is currently training her in the finer arts of...
A cotton candy story. It was cute and funny, but didn't stick the landing.
So, reason number 572 why living with a wicked witch sucks? Sometimes it’s a gorgeous summer Saturday, and instead of getting a well-deserved break from Sarmine’s weird witchy chores like dusting the dried newts, you end up as an unpaid babysitter for a party full of little witches.Cute story. Possibly I will have a look at Seriously Wicked.Available free from Tor: http://www.tor.com/2015/08/26/that-se...
The short story can be read here at Tor. I think I'd have enjoyed the story more if I'd read the novel but it isn't necessary.
I hesitated between 3 and 4 stars, but considering that it made me feel better I guess it deserves 4.It's a cute story about a non-witch having to babysit at a witch's party and the ending is really nice.
Another Tor.com original short story that will most likely lead me to books by Tina Connolly, since - again - I haven't read anything by her before.Sassy and adorable. I'd also say that it's aimed a little younger than your typical YA, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment of it. Since I'm not familiar with the Seriously Wicked world, that may be true of the entire series and not just this story.Really liked the "you feel like it, and you'll look it" line. I also liked the ending. :D For tho...
http://www.tor.com/2015/08/26/that-se...Aka: longest web address ever.Still, seriously cute without being cloying.
Reminds me of reading the enchanted forest chronicles as a kid!
I usually do not like to read short stories set in the universe of a longer book series without having read the book series before. This was an interesting exception. Silly, yet extremely entertaining urban fantasy novelette, set in a world with real witches.
Original Review at Jaunts & Haunts4/5I gave this short story four witchy stars! This is my first read of anything by this author, and I really had a great time! The setting is relatively light. A magic-less young girl is attending a birthday party of a local witch in the summertime. Knowing the other bad witches that showed up and their snobby little witch kids, she knows they're up to no good. Chaos ensues. This was the perfect light read for me. This is a middle grade/young adult story that had...
Instagram || Twitter || Facebook || Amazon || PinterestReal talk: I wanted to read this story because of the big, demonic bath toy-looking thing on the cover. As it turns out, the demonic bath toy-looking thing is actually a baby kraken. Apparently, witch kids are too cool for pinatas and Marco Polo; instead, they unleash a whole bunch of baby krakens in the pool and have a competition to see who can spell and then subdue them.Camellia, the only person at this party who isn't the witch, isn'

So freaking funny! Hilarious tale of witch-kids being awesome and witch-bitches getting their well-deserved punishments. Without knowing the prior stories or world, readers are able to follow easily and quickly care for the characters. Cheers all around. Definitely going to read more by the author.
