So strange yet so good. Robin Sloan writes such weird, funny, captivating books!
This was a fun read! Fast moving and very up to date. Unlike what I usually enjoy. I highly recommend it. A light hearted and enjoyable story about young folks and old and how they work together to solve a very old puzzle.
I loved this book so much. I can't remember ever in my life reading a book that made me hug it to myself and fall asleep with a happy heart. I think it is a magical thing that a grown-up author writing today can write about sweetness instead of violence and despair. It illustrates that a work of fiction can be purely uplifting yet still hold your interest with every word. This guy - he loves all his characters and it radiates warmth off the page. Thank you Robin Sloan. <3

Engaging and funny reading that combines emerging technology, D&D, friendship, eternal life, and mistic adventures. Reminds me of my two children, which I plan to buy a copy for them. It's also a light theme, not dark as so many books are today.Listened on 12-hour trip and just finished. The reader did a great job on the audio book.
