Well, it’s not taking up room on my shelf anymore. This was one of those impulse buys I made a while back. I give it 3 stars because I found some new book recommendations, but upon reflection this is a book I will not remember long term or ever recommend, so I’m downgrading it to 2 stars. I found no recipes I’m interested in and not much else of note either.
This read got my creative juices flowing.
Interesting concept, but I really don’t recognize most of the authors, and I would only make a few of these recipes. Some nice lists of books related to food and cooking.
This is so much more than a "cookbook". I especially liked reading the different author's reasons for the additional books they listed to read next.
I wold have liked more recipes but I did enjoy the recipes that were listed. A bonus that there were more books than listed discussed.
A fun little book with food and reading suggestions from authors of books that are popular with book clubs.
