Richard Hillman has fallen hopelessly in love with Susan Taylor the Baroness of Bedale who owns a large estate Bamborough Hall in North Yorkshire. Richard oversaw the rebuilding of Pennington Hall and was waiting for Susan to arrive for the Grand Ball that was the official reopening of the house. She was flying down from Yorkshire that day. The guest list was impressive over one hundred guests invited that included Royalty, film stars and the rich and famous from throughout England. Susan never arrived her private plane was blown up out of revenge by a London gang known as the Islington Syndicate. Richard hired Mel Doyle is personal bodyguard when he was minister to bring them to justice and exact revenge . Doyle was a retired special services operator in the SAS. His methods were uncompromising as the Islington syndicate were about to find out.
