Touch of the Billionaire 1: An Injured Wing

Touch of the Billionaire 1: An Injured Wing

Danielle Jamesen
0/5 ( ratings)
Adrian sighed and stared unseeing at the computer screen in front of her. She needed a two bedroom two bathroom apartment in the immediate future but the motivation was not with her at the moment.

This is not where she had pictured her life at thirty-three; starting over for herself and her almost-teenage daughter, Courtney, into an unforeseen future. She did not even know what sort of job she would be able to get, so she had no idea how much apartment she could afford.

Hopefully the divorce settlement would cover the basic expenses until she found employment. But who was hiring a stay-at-home mom with no experience? Not only had she lost her husband in the past two weeks, but she had also lost her best friend.

She did not really know anyone except for the parents of her daughter?s social circle, and she was too mortified to face any of them. She had no idea who knew about her husband?s affair and it was too soon to go around blabbing the truth of their situation.

She sighed again, and stood up, stretching her arms to release the kink in her neck. Courtney would be home from school in a couple of hours and she needed to have some sort of solution before then.
