This book was so much better than the first one. So good!!! I didn’t think I could love sacha and Taylor more but I do. This book had an open ending and there was room for more but I’m so sad because the authors have not mentioned that there is any more books coming out in this series. InkvotaryThat was great! Filled with action, two fantastic main characters and a story full of passion, love, darkness and magic. The way how Taylor and Sacha deal with what is supposed to be their destiny, how they act and what they do to proof that love can solve everything, wow, just wow! Ok, there are some pages towards the end during which the story becomes a bit flat, but mostly this novel is big entertainment.

3.5 starsThe Alchemist Chronicles was a good duology. The writing style was fluid, the story itself and the characters were interesting. The only thing that left me a little bit unsatisfied was the ending, because there were some things left unsaid. Since it's only a duology, I don't think there will be any chance to discover them, unless the writers decide to write a third book. Anyway, aside this little flaw, I enjoyed it very much.

I think this book was utterly amazing, I unfortunately realised at the end, that I had missed the first book, so I'll have to read that next. But the rich story and the ever flowing scenes drew me deep into the book. Some books I have to force myself to read, to hobble through, but not this book.
