Jack’s been kidnapped, mind-controlled, nearly killed a bunch of times, attacked with a fork and fought off a living bouquet of doom, but the past week has been relatively calm. He’s been able to work with his modular robots ; he’s enjoyed some downtime with his fellow team mates at the Hive; and he’s created a new invention that seems to work on the rules of normal physics, as opposed to mad science. All in all, life is pretty good for Professor Baling.

Then an alarm goes off. Perimeter breach. God only knows who is trying to break into the Hive, but when Jack and the rest go to find out, they get more than they bargained for in the process.
