Wanted by Sara ShepardBook 8 in the Pretty Little Liars series This is the PLL book I've been waiting for, this is the five star instalment I went through 8 books to get to, and boy, was it worth the wait!Funny story, so, after reading Ugly Love, I decided to pick this one up and read a couple pages... next thing I knew I was finished... This book was just incredible, it had everything you could want in a Sara Shepard book, and more. The creepy level was so high though, it actually took me a wh...
I really enjoyed the entire series. I know they're geared more towards teenagers, but these are so well written and thought out that I can't help, but be a little hooked as an adult reading these.I don't think the gist of the entire plot was obvious to every single reader, but I had mostly everything solved reading the first book. I'm like that, obnoxiously so (my best friend thinks watching Criminal Intent & CSI: NY with me is the most hilarious thing. I solve the entire case in 15 minutes. It
The conclusion of Cycle 2 is eventually reached. The prologue is yet another retelling of Alison’s last night and the dull happenings in the barn. The only addition is that we learn that both Hanna and Emily, whilst “hypnotised” by Alison, had visions of her trapped at the bottom of a well. Which I suppose is just another sign of the innate psychic abilities that the girls possess, despite being the 4 least spiritual people I have ever had the misfortune to read about. This might seem odd, but se...
This review is going to be full of Spoilers! I don't think there is any way to write a review for this book without giving to much information away. So, before I start my review I would just like to tell the people who have not read it yet, that is is an amazing book, it ends perfectly and is a great finish to the Pretty Little Liars series. On to my review,This book started off great right from the beginning. I, not in a million years would have ever thought that Alison had a twin. Through the
Wanted (Pretty Little Liars #8), Sara ShepardAria, Hanna, Emily and Spencer are shocked to learn of the existence of Alison's twin sister, Courtney, when she's introduced at a press conference. Courtney had spent her life in institutions due to "health issues" and her existence was kept secret by her family. It is revealed that Jason was not a patient at the Radley but instead he was visiting Courtney. She was finally released and went home to Rosewood, where she attempts to resume her sister's
Wow, I'm still trying to unravel the last bit of the book and sort out who was who and who did what. It was a very interesting read and I highly recommend it. All the girls go through character development which I like. The story is multi-faceted and really quite intriguing. I can't wait to read the next books that take place a year later. Kisses!
THE PEOPLE OF ROSEWOOD ARE GOING TO NEED SO MUCH THERAPY.In fact, let's make it a competition! It's a game show! Who Wants to Be Mentally Stable, Eventually? Let's welcome our first contestants, Mr. and Mrs. Cavanaugh!Mr. and Mrs. Cavanaugh: Thank you. Well, our daughter was blinded a few years back, and we had no idea that she struck a deal with the girl who blinded her to frame her brother, because he was molesting her. So then a few months ago, our apparently reformed but still guilt-stricken...
I finished this book in half a day! And...WHOA! That is all I can say. Shepard characterizes her characters so well. She doesn't ever have an unbelievable character. She characterized Hanna perfectly. She made her believable, and vulnerable, not just bitchy. I also think the contrast between Emily and Hanna (queen bee and good girl) and Spencer and Aria (Typical rosewood overachiever and the kooky mysterious one) was amazing. I think Wilden's character should have been flushed out, why did he ha...
Wow! That was a near perfect ending. But why has Sara Shepard written another 4 books? :\So..... is 'A' truly 'A'?Regardless, as long as Shepard writes them, i'll happily continue reading them. My favorite Pretty Little Liar has to go to Spencer! (even though I love them all) :)
Well, it’s no lie that this book got me into my current slump but I finally finished it! Not saying it wasn’t entertaining.. this series does a good job of that I just get too distracted reading it. I honestly just want to finish this series already 😴
Well, I officially know who A is, again.. New A I suppose, or always actually really was A. Sara Shepard is seriously addicting, and after seeing the awesome new episode, I had to just get it over with, and learn who A was. I'm still going to watch the show of course, everyone says they will switch it up, but I don't think they should. The ending to this book was great. I'm still team Hannah she is my favorite Pretty Little Liar, but this entire book felt like a really juicy Lifetime movie. The
So horrible that I am actually angry I read past the fourth book, which I believe was the original end of this series. I can't imagine this shit continuing for another four books, it has gotten so contrived. Yeah, so ranting about the eighth book in the Pretty Little Liars series is sort of like buying one of those 99 cent frozen pizzas and going "WHY DOES THIS TASTE LIKE NOTHING I DEMAND TO KNOW", but it managed to be sort of witty and relatively thrilling into even the sixth book! I expected b...
Got a secretCan you keep it?Swear this one you'll saveBetter lock it, in your pocketTaking this one to the graveIf I show you then I know youWon't tell what I saidCause two can keep a secretIf one of the m is dead… so this is it?? this is finally over?the whole PLL series made my world turn upside down , after i finished reading each book in the series i always come up with my own theories on who is A and who murdered Alison but sadly none of my theories is correct. not even one of them is co
****minor spoilers, but not the BIG secrets*****Snap! what a perfectly creepy ending to this addictive series. I was kind of sad to see it end, but there is no way it could have been drawn out much longer. all the answers to the question you didn't know you should be asking were served up in this finale. This whole series is filled with so many twist, I thought I had it figured out and by the middle of the book I was so pleased with myself for figuring it all out, until the ending came. I couldn...
I am pretty sure this one has been my favorite so far. So many things happened that I didn't see coming and it is so different from the show. I am starting to wish that the show followed the books a little more closely. In this installment, we learn that Alison actually had a twin sister that almost nobody knew about. Huh...didn't see that coming. Apparently, she was a patient at Radley, not Jason...he was just visiting her. So I guess the family kept her hidden out of shame? The girls all becom...
The second to last novel in the Pretty Little Liars series--Wanted--by Sara Shepard, tells the story of the twisted fate of four girls from a small Pennsylvania town called Rosewood. Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna lost their best friend Ali during a strange, mysterious night four years ago. They discovered important, life-altering facts about her disappearance in each book leading up to this and have found out so much about her passing that they refuse to stop now. Taking place in a modern day
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAThese girls are so dumb.First, let's just mention the first line in the author acknowledgements:It is with a heavy heart that I write the acknowledgements for the last book in the Pretty Little Liars series.Yeah, I call bull shit as there still 8 more. I'm thinking it should have just ended here. Now onto this book. Ali is back. But she's pretending to be her twin sister Courtney who was actually pretending to be Ali when she died. Got it? Everyone's just pret...

3.9 stars*this book had me screaming, crying and throwing up- JAHDGHSJAJA that plot-twist was just-🧍♀️i loved it SO MUCH!!!the past PLL books were kinda boring imo, and i felt like nothing was really happening, but this one was actually GREAT, i think the reason why i enjoyed it more is because the vibes here were really similar to the vibes in the first 4 books, which are my favorite ones so far. (i think this one made it to my list of faves too) also i feel like the writing improved a lot. we...
Wow so i saw none of this coming. I mean i knew that Ali was going to have a twin, i figured that out as soon as hanna saw that picture at the mental place. But this whole courtney is ali and ali was courtney confused me so i'm going to just explain it here to help me understand(incase you didnt notice before SPOILER ALERT! im about to give away the answer to the whole series): ALI was friends with Naomi and Riley until the day the girl went to steal ali's piece of the flag. Then Courtney became...
