British-born JOHN BLACK has always had his eyes set on the American presidency. He is linked to a European-based secret society committed to the goal of a Euro-centric New World Order. The group is comprised of many of the most influential political, business and religious leaders in the world and has unlimited financial and technological resources. Fortuitously, the previous US administration has repealed the legislation requiring presidential candidates to be American-born. American ascendancy can now be undone subversively!
CIA Agent ADAM ZUGGERWELDT has been covertly investigating rumors about Black being linked to a secret society. Having already survived being their hostage, he is reassigned to the case at the behest of the incumbent Democrat president. Zuggerweldt and a female agent are drawn into an intriguing, dark and secretive plan which includes the resurrecting and worshiping the pagan gods of ancient Rome; the very gods whom, they reason, brought Rome her former glory.
KEN CALHOUN SR. is a well-known Christian TV talk show host. His son, KEN CALHOUN JR., is a potent threat to Black's presidential aspirations. Calhoun's appeal has always been the to 'religious right.' However, Senator Calhoun has a skeleton in the closet - one that must stay there! - or risk clearing the way for Black to take the GOP nomination. Meanwhile, Ken Calhoun Sr. focuses on America's peculiar absence in any Bible prophecy. Pondering the implications of this, he posits that something must happen to America in the last days to remove her power, if not sovereignty.

The Calhouns and the CIA arrive at the same conclusion: Congressman Black may be part of a subversive plot to undermine American sovereignty! The only question is: Will anyone be able to prove this theory before the Presidential election…and now time is running out as the clock counts down to what may be the election of the last President of the United States as we know it!
