Though the book is not very smooth and easy-to-read (sometime Branson throws in too many barely valuable facts or names), many pieces are indeed interesting and worth thinking about.Pretty much impressed by Branson's determination to solve global social, health and environmental problems the world is facing. Respect.
U can't read business book grow your business . U will learn only buy doing it . Overall book is fine . Minus Point how great is virgin customers service
Like a pleasant and yet educational fireside chat with Sir Richard. Gives some nice insights into key events in Virgin's history, the man's modus operandi and - as an extension of that - the culture that he has built at Virgin. There are no real revelations and no particularly in-depth insights but, as a quick and easy 'business stories'-type read, it's good.
Some very good management lessons:1) People respond with excitement when you give them greater responsibility2) No matter how smart you are, doing it alone can only get you so far3) Teams dont last for ever4) Fun is the feeling you get when you are on top of things5) Know your coworkers at a personal level6) Research the achilles heels of different global industries and see how you can solve them7) Try to find customer segment everyone else is ignoring8) Always have a plan-B and be financially p...

Haven't read any other Branson titles, but this one was a lot of fun.Branson took me on an amazing roller coaster through the ups & downs & lessons learnt of several business choices.
