When you woke up this morning, you had a plan on how you were going to improve your life. You had grand schemes, a plan, one of excitement. While we as people may make mistakes and learn to forgive both ourselves and each other for past misdeeds, poor choices of utilizing finances and loss of money due to poor bad investments, there is something that never forgets and unlike a person, it also never forgives. What never forgets, you might ask? Unfortunately, the answer is complex, but if we were to sum it up in a word, it would be the word: algorithms. As we begin to take a look at the things that are secretly holding you back in your life, you will learn how financial institutions and banks are allowed to use computers to discriminate against you. You will learn what you’re facing realistically whenever you enter a bank with the hopes and dreams of moving past the life that you had once lived. You will see how the bankers job is just to type numbers into a computer leaving all else including your fate all up to a series of numbers and calculations, completely ignoring the flesh and blood that you are.
