Raquel prides herself on being the center of her social circle, a successful human resources manager, and now the renter of a corner unit in a coveted Silicon Valley neighborhood.

But the dream apartment turns out to be too good to be true. A problem with the lights takes a sinister turn, despite a traditional Filipino house-blessing complete with palm crosses and holy water. The apartment maintenance man, Carl, gets spooked when she mentions her unit number. And he warns her to beware of her lying, cheating, deal-making neighbor. Her neighbor, Ruben, warns her away from Carl, whose girlfriend died under mysterious circumstances.

Intent on keeping her dream apartment and making it livable again, Raquel tries to leave the two men to their strange rivalry. Yet her investigations take her further away from her technological comforts, deeper into the realm of the paranormal, and closer to the two mysterious men. The harder she fights to escape her fate, the tighter the knot that binds the three of them to the tragic history of apartment Twenty-Four C.
