They Lie! The Catholic Church lies and it lies and it lies, indiscriminately and profusely..It lied when it refuted Galileo ‘s scientific certainty that the earth and planets revolved around the sun instead of vice versa. They imprisoned him, punished him, subjected him to the Inquisition, all of which led to his death. It was the fraudulent and arrogant papacy of John Paul II, in 1992 after 350 years that condescended in a grand gesture when it finally acknowledged that it had erred when it condemned Galileo..A few days into his papacy in 1978, Pope John Paul I began to take the first steps in reversing the old position of the Catholic Church on birth control by implementing artificial birth control. To the Vatican, this was a nightmare. The Vatican did what they usually do. They immediately announced to the world that Paul was in full support of the old methods and the media immediately ran worldwide with that story. For his shocking position on artificial birth control and other reasons, John Paul I was killed. There can be no more duplicitous act than that. He was pope for 33 days..There is an army of Vatican operatives specializing in papal deception. The desperate need to prove that the Church has never changed and the delusion that in fact it has not indicates the Vatican still believes that a naïve and pliant laity is still in place..When the explanation is offered for why there is a male monopoly on the priesthood, that is that all males were appointed as Christ’s twelve apostles that is incontrovertible proof that women were never intended to be priests.
