Sooo many people told me I had to read this reverse harem and I’m so glad I finally did. It’s the first book in a rock star romance series, about a rock star group of 5 and their heroine. We have Lilith, whose father has just died and she’s now completely broke and homeless. She has tickets to the band that she wants to sell so she goes to the concert and instead of selling the tickets, she ends up meeting the boys of Beauty in Lies. There’s Paxton, Ransom, Muse, and Cope, who are all broken boy...
We're all broken pieces, shattered by loss and grief and hurt, but put us together … and you get one perfect whole This was a bit of a weird complex story...It was like the author wanted to combine the serious subjects of insightful emotional characterisation and on the other hand it filled the gaps with hot, steamy raunchy sex scenes between one girl and five men...Looking at it separately it could have resulted with two separate books, one drama and the other would be, well, just fuckin haw
Hotdamn! If this is how the reverse harem books roll I'm sorry I didn't try it out any sooner. Anything I might have ruled annoying or ridiculous, and there was some of that, got overshadowed by: 1) the ammount of feelings those six had for each other, 2) hot Bat Cave scenes and 3) Copeland's love for smut books. How can you not love a guy who loves romance as much, if not more, as you do?Over and outP.S.: I got a song of the day for you, folks - Electric Love by Børns.
3.5 starsThe first thing I'd say about this book is that don't let my rating stop you from reading this book. It was a bloody interesting one, and I really enjoyed it. I will justify my rating in the review if you hang around for a few more seconds tho.So with that, let us begin. This book was unconventional- in the sense that if you wanna read a book where the lady is a damsel in distress, and the knight comes flying in, sweeping her off her feet, and they fall in love, and HEA HEA HEA, then thi...
OhOh my that was hot and beautiful.... We all have our dark secrets of pain it's letting someone else in to share it that's hard and in this book she does that I felt part of the story and damn I want them boys lol
this had to many plot issues and things wrong with it but i still loved the book and finished it in one day because it's that obsessive type of crappy ;)plus i loved that the book talked about how women can sleep with as many men as they want, whenever they want, and that doesn't mean they're sluts. own it sweetheart! thanks to C.M. Stunich for always writing the light, sexy RH books that i love to read ;)) xoxo
This author.... She's crazy! I mean, it's as if she says 'Well, if we're going to go OTT, then why stop there?'We have a whole madcap bunch of characters; Rockers who like reading erotic-romance, who wear nothing but suits and make you huff a laugh, overly tortured souls more than willing to sleep naked together, dead exes, parents, mangers with a chip on their shoulder, vengeful exes, wicked parents, dead sisters..... The whole 9 yards!Suspend your disbeliefs a little and you'll be in for an en...
Usually, reverse harem romances aren't my thing. (The best sentence I've written for a review, ever.) When it comes to real life situations, I truly prefer monogamy overall. However, when it comes to the action within the pages of C.M. Stunich's Groupie, I didn't mind it at all. The way the scenes are presented in the book makes this rockstar scenario almost...desirable. However, I had a few gripes about the rest of the story that made me lose a bit of the buy-in, despite the steaminess. The firs...
3.5 Stars "This book has one girl and five bad boy rockstars. She owns them all—heart, body and soul. Don't read it unless you like to ugly cry…and also unless you like threesomes, foursomes…and moresomes." This ^^^ is the warning at the beginning of the book, and that basically sums it up. Alone, broke and desperate. Lilith Goode is just trying to find a way to get to New York, when she stumbles across the path of a hot rocker guy who generously helps her out and confuses her with some so
This is the first book I have ever read that I had to take notes on what I wanted to say in my review.Lilith Tempest Goode (a more aptly named female character has not been written yet) learns her dad is dying and while trying to drive to his bedside from Phoenix to Upstate NYC to be with him she receives a call from Step Mommy Dearest that he has died. Add to this her lawyer in training boyfriend of five years is cheating on her, breaks one gift while giving her one she never wanted, destroys a...
DNFPATHETIC STORYLINE. TOO CONVINIENT. WAY TOO MUCH DRAMA. ZERO CONNECTION TO ALL THE CHARACTERS. (Wondering how many times she said « my daddy is dead » ?!?!? At least a dozen times in just a few pages.)
Ugh...DNF
This was different but I really enjoyed it!
This was something else, but I loved how dark and sensual it was. Lilith Goode has nothing left in this world. Her dad has just died and she has about $5 to her name. When she stops at the concert for Beauty in Lies she was supposed to attend with her ex-boyfriend, she ends up finding the lead singer and winning a backstage pass. Lilith has nothing else to do and decides fuck it, and heads backstage. This changes the trajectory of her whole world. The boys: Paxton: Asshole extraordinaire and lea...
