Quantity over quality is the theme of this bookWhen I started this series C.M. Stunich was a new read for me. RH and ménage books are kind of a guilty pleasure. While not an every day thing, I really enjoy them when they are done well. I liked the first book of the series, and therefor committed to follow the series to the end. What I noticed in this series is the same thing I have noticed before in books with 4+ “heroes”... When the author chooses quantity over quality, the plot line suffers im...
i think that this book would’ve been best as a collage series, so much of it was very unrealistic for high school? once again too much was going on and i LOVE drama.
I can't lie, this series got progressively worse for me. It started so well, yet with each book, I found myself cringing more and more. To quote Marnye, "A little angst is fun. Too much gives me a stomach ache." For my full thoughts on the series, read my previous reviews for Filthy Rich Boys #1, Bad, Bad Blueboods #2 and The Envy of Idols #3. As for this book, In the Arms of the Elite #4, I have little to say. To be frank, it got very silly, very quickly. From, "Tristan has to fuck Lizzie becau...
Clearly I liked the series enough to devour each installment and finish. Yes in each book there is drama and each relationship grows but each installment seemed too much like the last. The only exception, the end of book four. I get it’s a RH/bully theme but the choice that was made was.....meh. Based on the character interactions and the story development I just didn’t buy it. Marnye’s thoughts and actions led me to believe it was more lust than “love” with most of the boys. The fact we waited
....WHAT WITCHCRAFT COMPELLED ME TO READ THIS ENTIRE SERIES?!?!?Listen, I love a good reverse harem romance. And I would be lying if I said that the bully trope didn't work for me sometimes. But this? This was too much. The completely unbelievable highschool (?!?!) characters, revenge story, everything was ridiculously too much. I had so many problems with so many things. Almost all of my Hell No buttons were pushed. And yet. I compulsively read THE WHOLE DAMN THING. So I guess good job, author,
The Rich Boys of Burberry Prep took over my life this year! Once I picked up Filthy Rich Boys, I couldn't stop! I fell so hard for all of these characters, and this series is one of my favorite contemporary reverse harem series ever! It's a bit of a slow burn, but in the best way possible. There are several guys that needed to build a believable and solid relationship with the heroine, and C. M. Stunich accomplished that with perfection. Bottom line, I had an absolute blast reading these books!
Sooooo it appears I’m addicted to this series
I hate read this book, and I have a lot of mixed feelings about that.I truly can’t figure out why I mostly enjoyed reading this series. I got frustrated with this book so many times that I should have just put it down. But for some reason I wanted to finish this book and see it come to a conclusion.Really, not a lot happened in this book that hasn’t already happened previously. After the first book in the series, the plot has been basically the same – Marnye swears revenge and somehow slowly wor...
Holy mother of fucking god i have already finished it! noo it ended too fast, i want more of these guys. Tristan almost killed me with his passion for Marnye and Winds loyalty is golden. I feel like it´s mych more to know about the guys than we have got. I love Miranda and how true she is. She is one true fkn friendI love the idea of a crossover w burberry prep & Adamson all boys academy! and I hope for the “Rich boys of Bornstead U.” series to be written, like hell yaas bitches!
Hoping the spinoff of Bornstead University actually happensFinally Marnye gets her HFN ending. The Infinity Club is still going though, so she sorta failed in her objective to take it down. Everything else was resolved. It does leave the door open for the university years, which I would love to read.
Rich people are horrible in this book. In the Arms of the Elite kind of left me shocked. At least in some parts, because shit was going crazy left and right. For example, who the fuck allows people to kill one person? It isn't for the greater good because your kids suck ass and are entitled assholes. Plus, killing a poor person because they are better at school than your kid is just dumb. So yeah, I didn't like a lot of stuff in this book - yet, I ate it all up.I just fell in love with Maryne, M...
4 STARS I have finally completed this series after reading it for a week or so! It has been so so so good... it’s definitely been a while since I’ve read a series that I’ve enjoyed as much as this one. Side note, I’m always up for high school bully romances and all that over the top drama - so that’s a prime reason for why I liked this series so much. Marnye is an Idol - the queen of the school. It’s her final year at Burberry Prep and she is ready to graduate! She just needs to maintain all he
I want more! From the very beginning of the book I hooked! I'm not going to lie, the prologue messed me up. I was in a WTF state of mind most of this book just because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Then of course I couldn't read this book fast enough just so I could see what the heck was going on. This series was just simply amazing! I love a good bully read and a good harem so to have a bully rh was like heaven to me! I am truly addicted and would love to read about the college years for su...
