This is a great series for Adventure Time fans and there is something in it for everyone. As with the previous books, there is a nice variety in the art styles, writing, and stories. Some of my favorites in this collection were Rii Abrego's "Bad Radishes", Christine Larsen's "Third Eye", Jarrett Williams's "Princess Rap Battle", and Grace Kraft's "Chef BMO". That cover lies!! There's no Lich story, and the semi-realistic artstyle doesn't show up for any of the shorts (was really hoping it would) boooooo

Always an interesting grab bag of comics, these Adventure Time Comics anthologies allow a multitude of artists to tackle the Adventure Time characters and worlds in their own diverse styles, to differing degrees of success. Some seem to just rehash common themes of the series, while others focus on more it’s strange or unique aspects, or take minor supporting characters in interesting new directions. Okay, so I ordered this one by accident. I was expecting a regular old Adventure Time adventure with two or three stories spread throughout the book. This one is essentially Adventure Time Flash Fiction: a bunch 'o short little tales, most of them ending just as I started to get really interested. On the plus side, I loved all the various art styles; some of them were fantastic.
