These Lectures were designed for the assistance of students in the every-day work of their profession, by directing attention to some common errors in medical practice, and by setting forth the importance of certain points in relation to the diagnosis and treatment of disease which are not dealt with in detail in the text books, are rarely treated adequately in clinical teaching, and which are therefore apt to be neglected or over.
