You know the feeling of seeing the coolest thing possible and whispering “damn”? This comic is literally all those times. The characters are so relatable and the story just gets better and better, I LITERALLY CAN’T WAIT FOR ISSUE #5 OKAY? Its nice to see girls taking over comic world and having series like these, mainly focused on girls :”
The end of the series (for now) nooooo! This was adorable and the characters and art were just gorgeous. Hopefully we’ll see more of this because I need it in my life.
The artwork was still great and this was still cute, but the big revelation was so silly
Good conclusion to a short comic series!
I LOVED THIS SERIE SO SO MUCH! YOU NEED TO READ THIS AAA
I love how things turned out but I just really need more!
This was such a cute graphic-novel series I read the last three in one sitting and would recommend if you’re looking for something short and sweet💕
Aww this was such a fun and cute read! I can't believe how quickly I flew through these comics! I need the next one asap 😩
Not sure if I got an issue for a different region or if they had to change the title for copyright issues, but mine has the title as "Heavy Vinyl" whereas all my previous issues were titled "Hi-fi Fight Club".If I didn't think there was enough gay/inclusion before, there SURE IS now! Queer being revealed all over the place and I LOVE it.This ends the first (PLEASE, DON'T LET IT BE THE LAST) arc of the series and it's absolutely delightful! I was reading it beside my girlfriend and stopped multip...
Rep: two sapphic couples, gay parents, Black female side character, Puerto Rican side character. Various PoC and intersectionality.
4.5/5 starsyou can SEE where they had to rush the ending because this was a limited first run, and i swear if they don't bring these girls back for another 10 volumes i'll lose my MIND
Heavy Vinyl #4 wrapped the storyline wonderfully. A bit too quick for my liking, but still, wonderful. I love we got a glimpse of how each cast spent their days outside of the record store, either with their family or partner. The twist was also much appreciated, leaving room for growth if someday the author decided to expand this storyline. After all, this series was hella adorable! —.:* Vinny
This ended up waaaay too quick, but I’m happy to see different families and I know I sound like a broken record, but it’s just nice to have some accurate representation on the LGBTQ+ community! This last volume warmed my heart thanks to those beautiful couples and characters that were so good to each other, like man, why can’t the real world just be like that? Anyway, now I’m sad this is over, I wish we had more adventures on this peculiar Fight Club! PREVIOUS REVIEW:Volume 1 | Volume 2 | Volume...
Want to see more... Bookstagram WebsiteI need the rest of the series, I am loving the girl power!!
I wish there was more! This was incredibly fun!!
I'm so so happy that I got to read this as an actual, physical thing thanks to my friend Elin. But honestly, everything about this series makes me happy.
this comic was everything i wanted (and more) !!! i loved the storyline so so so much and i need more than four issues of it, the diversity was perfect, and the characters were super duper fun. i had an absolute blast reading this !!!
Review of this series:Great art, characters and representation, but this story is kinda ridiculous and not that great
Final thoughts on this series:It is a cute series full of strong and queer women. I love the diversity and the record store setting. Problem: It is way too short. It is so hard to really feel for these characters because every Issue is super short and the overall series is only four issues. Also the actual plot was interesting but it could not really flourish in such a short time. In the last volume you get a glimpse into the life of the other girls from the store and it was almost sad that noth...
I like how we are introduced to each of the character's family and it's so good to see how POC & LGBTQI+ represent in this graphic novel. I thought I'll like this one the most but it isn't the case. Despite how much I enjoy the story & the art, I find that the way things conclude was too fast and I feel it was done in rush. If it is longer and explain more about why the record company did things to their label band, I might give it higher rating. I give 3.5 for this section but overall I'll give...
