I have never read anything by Sandra Block before but I will be reading some of her other books after reading this one. This is such a powerful book and written with so much thought and depth. This book was trying to hit all the notes to be a topical book, dealing with sexual assault, self-harm, suicide, LGBTQ identity and autism but it ended up being messy and offensive and pretty poorly written.
