When a fatal mistake leads to his untimely arrival in the afterlife, Logan finds himself training to become a demon hunter. When a mission on Earth goes awry, however, Logan and his protege are captured by Satan and tortured for weeks. Following his rescue, Logan is broken in mind and body. No sooner has he begun to get back to some semblance of normality, he is tasked to train an unlikely demon hunter. At first, Audrey is as fiery as she is annoying but she may just be the bridge that heals his...
This novella installment in the Life After Series was an intriguing look into how Logan became the closed off and slightly cynical man we'd seen in both Huntress and Warfare, giving some much valued insight to his nature. I can't say enough good things about this short story, it fills holes and answers so many questions about MANY characters we've met throughout the series, making me just that much more anxious to get Dominion into my greedy hands! The commentary and bloopers are a fun touch and...
I am not going to lie: I read this book in one day. I love hearing from Logan’s point of view! This book fills in some gaps from Logan’s life and his point of view, which helps explain his initial reaction to Audrey. Logan’s character, before this, was complicated and I was only seeing things from Audrey’s point of view. This book helped clear up a lot for me and what I want to do is go back and start all over again with Huntress and read the entire trilogy again knowing what I now know. It’s li...
I’m so glad I got the chance to read this so soon! This is Logan’s POV from the Life After series. This is more of a 0.5 then a 2.5 and you could always be read as a stand-alone to. I love the way Julie has made us see another side of Logan I really didn’t see in the other two books (Huntress and Warfare must read if you love and read this 1st 😍.) from his hard exterior in the other books we find a more loving care free Logan in this book. I love the way we see into Logan before and after life.
One Integral Part of a Beloved Series ♡♡♡♡ Fans of The Life After Series have always wondered what makes Logan tick. What shaped him and how and when did he end up in Heaven? This is one beautiful tale of forgiveness, redemption and love!! This companion edition will feed your heart and refresh your soul ♡ I absolutely loved how Ms. Hall presented us with Logan's point of view upon meeting Audrey! I found this to be quite the page turner with an exceptionally thought out and well paced plot and
I found the companion story about Logan a great addition to the story. It was nice to get to know Logan a bit better and see how his ordeal made him in the Logan we know from the trilogy.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the three book Life After series. But it's all told from the perspective of Audrey. Her love interest in the series is Logan and it was great to get a little snippet of his first hand perspective plus go back into time well before Audrey to see some of the significant events that have impacted his life both on earth and as a hunter in the life after. In addition, we get to see Hall's explanation for the demons and why they act and look the way they do. Once again, I would
Holy crab cakes baby, it did not disappoint. I was so happy to be back in the Life After world, and get to know a little more about Logan's life before he died. The Kaitlin/Morgan dynamic was EXACTLY what I was hoping for, and it gives me hope for Morgan in book 3, Dominion. There were lots of questions answered, and it was super awesome being in Logan's head. As a female, I always want to know what the dude is thinking. Am I right? Pretty sure all of us do. We got a ton of information packed in...
I was so excited to read Logan’s own account of his life and after life! This author has a way of gaining your attention and keeping it. While it’s just a fiction book that isn’t meant to be theologically correct, it still gives the reader fun & thoughtful descriptions of what our after life MIGHT be like. Self-realizations like realizing that our lives should be spent on people who matter, rather than on things and on ourselves. Another interesting observation is that the physical scars were ac...
Logan is a short companion novella about—you guessed it—Logan, the male protagonist of the Life After series. This short book gives us a look at things from his POV. We get to see his backstory, what his life was like before his death, and what makes him tick. There’s so much mystery and intrigue surrounding Logan in the first two books of the series, and after reading this book, everything makes so much more sense. I loved Logan before, but now, after seeing the struggles and the trials he’s ha...
