Absolutely love this series so farOmg!!! There are not enough words for this series. I picked this book up because it was recommend and I'm so so glad I did. Emberley is growing and Steel can we just say stop being a man and do what your heart tells you. The adventure Julie takes you on is amazing. I was on my seat the whole time.
i really enjoyed this follow up installment. it has everything i loved about the first book but also adds some new exciting world-building and characters. again, i would have loved for this to have more of a mature feel to it. its still feels pretty juvenile in terms of dialogue and some characterisation.but im invested in the story and cant wait to see how everything plays out in the next book/conclusion. ↠ 3.5 stars

This series just gets better and better! The characters grew so much and we got to see more of the spectrum world which I loved! Fantastic paranormal romance.
I’m just, not a fan of the writing style. It’s like it wants to sophisticated, but as the same time comical and light-hearted. Which creates such a clash in the sentence structure.....it just confuses me. And the sudden switch in dynamic between Steel and Em??? Seriously??? That’s what the build-up of the first book led to??

Forging Darkness is Book #2 in the Fallen Legacies Series. It did not disappoint. Sometimes when ou read book 2 in a series, it falls flat. THIS DID NOT! I am still kicking myself under the table that I did not read this sooner. Started 11/7/2021. Read 27 pages (4%). DNF on 11/8/2021.I started this and realized I'm just no longer interested. There was nothing wrong with the first one, but I think I waited too long to continue the series and now I just don't care. So I'm putting it down for now. Maybe I'll finish it at some point, but I'm not holding my breath.

really enjoyed the scenes between steel and emberly yet sometimes the book feels like it moves too slow. looking forward to the 3rd book and hopefully i like it more!
If book one deserves all the stars, then book 2 gets all the stars and then some confetti!!!This book has all the feels. Emberly and the gang set off to find Steel & answers. This is full of non stop twists & turns with a love to hate Villain and some major bombs being dropped. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll laugh some more. So sit back, strap in and enjoy the ride.
Wow!!! I thought Stealing Embers was great but this one tops it. This was non stop action from the beginning to the end. I loved all the twists and turns. The world building continued from the first book. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I can't wait for the next book!!!
Slower than the first book (which I loved), but still enjoyable. Feels like it took me half an age to get through this one.
