Celtic Piano takes you on a musical journey! Inspired by the forests, flowers and brooks of Cape Breton, this series of delightful pieces teaches Celtic music and makes Celtic rhythms easier to play. From 'Echoes' to 'Are Those Bear Tracks?', Celtic Piano Book 2 continues the musical journey with Celtic rhythms. Notes from Book 1 are gradually expanded to include bass clef low A up to C above middle C. Dynamic signs, phrasing, and staccato notes are introduced. The first seven pieces are hands separate. The last three pieces start hands together. As in Book 1, melodies are shared between the hands to balance learning. Susan MacDonald is a piano teacher, organist and composer living in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
