This is one of the few books that I have begun reading and not been able to out down! I ended up reading it in one sitting. The book tells the story of a Porter Girl at an old English college, where people turning up dead seem to be a part of college life. The dialogue was witty throughout, and thoroughly British (the lack of tea and biscuits was more worrying than the two dead bodies at the bottom of the college gardens), and the author created some hilariously bizarre characters.
