This book series was absolutely AMAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZIIIIIIINNNNGGGG!!!!!!! Stephanie Garber did a REALLY great job at keeping the storyline interesting all throughout the series and always kept the reader engaged throughout the book. Each book got better and better and the ending was absolutely PERFECT! Thank you, Stephanie Garber, for writing the best series that I ever read!💖

This trilogy is great for a YA Fantasy. The characters were well thought out and developed and the author’s style of YA writing kept me engaged. I usually don’t love multiple perspectives, but that aspect of her writing was done very well in my opinion. It was captivating and original, but the ending seemed abrupt and was a bit unsatisfying for me. WHAT happened to Jacks?? Where did he go?!?REREAD: got updated on the Jacks storyline with OUABH lol

This series is a perfect example of world building in a trilogy. Caraval introduces us to the two main characters, Scarlett and Tella, and throws us into the world of Caraval and magic. While I found the story a bit confusing with all the layers of deception, it set up the next two books well. I love the Fates and the mythology, and of the three books Finale was my favorite. This entire series was so beautifully done, finishing it was so painful because I grew so attached to the characters. The descriptions and world-building was incredibly done and it brought the entire story to life. The mystery surrounding Legend and Caraval to the mystery around the sisters themselves, as well as the self-discovery of everything. Overall a beautiful series, with even more beautiful characters.
