Ugly and oddly pointless
Red Sonja y Vampirella conocen a Betty y Verónica. Juntas deciden llevar a cabo una investigación para conocer los detalles de los extraños sucesos de Riverdale.
This was an interesting first issue, written by Amy Chu and illustrated by Maria Sanapo. I'm not sure if I'm ready to put it on my pull list, but I might buy the second issue, so this comic book does merit three stars. I liked how Chu jumped right into the story. The premise is goofy, so it made perfect sense to just lean into it and have fun with it. Sanapo's style suits all the characters nicely, and blends the two different universes together seamlessly.
Great read Beautiful art work and off the bat avoids falling into the cliqued narrative of ( Archie falling for the new girls ). Archie remains a minor character and the story really focuses on the girls
What an absolute hoot! The very idea is sooo ridiculous, but damned if they don’t make it work. Other than the occasional Little Archie as a kid I never had much interest in the gang from Riverdale. I did enjoy the new show but it soon wore out my patience. This, however is great. Fantastic sense of humor. Nice artwork and I love the fact that the sisters, as they were, are doing it for themselves. Looking forward to the next issue.
Silly good fun. My favorite part was Sonja being all displeased and shocked that only BOYS play football. And then she decides to play too. Also, so much eye candy.
