Who is Jesus Christ? Two thousand years ago, the Apostle Paul wrote a letter to a church in modern-day Turkey to help them answer this question. Although this letter is old, it contains principles and lessons that speak straight to our needs in the 21st Century.

The theme of Colossians is “fullness.” The key passage of Colossians reveals the dual aspects of fullness: “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority” .

What does it mean to experience God’s fullness? Need faith? Need love? Need hope? The Book of Colossians tells us that the secret to a fruitful Christian life is found in the fullness of Christ or “Christ in me.” In Jesus Christ we see the fullness of God.

The first half of Colossians speaks truth , and the second half of Colossians tells us how to apply that truth . Christianity is more than just knowing the truth. It is living the truth.
