My Thoughts On: Angel & Spike #121. Am I getting ship vibes from SPIKE AND KATE? What is even happening? How am I supposed to take this line from Spike: "It senses your goodness. Just like I do."2. Fred + baphomet = cheesey superhero looking costume. Its bad just bad. So does Illyria not exist? What the actual fuck. Also does Darla just not exist in this alternate reality? Is she replaced with Mara/lockely? The art isnt bad in this one but the plot line is horrible. These arnt even the same characters as the og imo. Just some people with the same names and charcater designs.
Poor Fred, no matter what incarnation you choose, you're like catnip for the old gods. Baphomet seems to be a bit like Illyria, however, in that he's morally neutral and just kind of wants to kill. I think it'd be interesting for Fred to actually have control of god powers while working for Angel, but we'll see which direction the series goes. I still am not a fan of Kate, so all attempts to tie her to the plot tend to turn me off of those scenes. I hope she doesn't stick around, but if she actu...
