Marney has escaped Surarth, but she stowed away on the wrong ship.
She wanted to get to Tamaaray, but she's ended up on Trans, the second moon around the planet Agniri.
She's stuck at a small mining outpost shopping centre with no clothes, no money and no hope.

Marney can't see much of a future in front of her. She's living on food from a bin, and trying to keep herself clean from a sink in a toilet block. What's worse is it's the wet season and she has to find shelter under the shops.

While scrounging for food during a storm, a man finds Marney. She soon learns he is part owner and manager of a motel. If Marney is willing to work for him, he's willing to help her get to Tamaaray.

The problem is there are people that want this motel shut down, and they're willing to do just about anything to make that happen.

Is Marney willing to work for this man?
Is there any chance she could be in danger?
Is it possible for Marney to make friends and enjoy living in this strange place?
