Loved this story
Well-written fantasy - very impressive for a first novel.
I stepped out and of my comfort zone to read this one. While my first love will continue to be historical fiction, ..Doors... has opened my eyes to the wonder of a world of 'what if?'. This book will stay on my mind for a long time, and in my heart forever. Alix, you have written a fabulous story in an imaginative style. It is Unique, Expansive, Thoughtful, Delightful - and much more. Thank you for the journey.
You'll want to savor this one. It is hard to believe this is a first novel. What a glorious journey into Otherworlds, and those who dwell in them, just by one step sideways, through the doorways in the fabric of our world. A beautiful, captivating story that makes this book hard to put down.
