This is a great series. The writing is top-notch and the artwork is just as good. I don't want this Joker story to end!
It's time for issue three of Jim Gordon, I mean... The Joker. There is just soooo much exposition, so much telling, with so little actually happening. In this issue Jim Gordon boarded a plane. And arrived at the resort. That's about it. There were cameos of the three batgirls. I think. I liked Punchline's part, but it was only about two pages or so. It was good to see her so batshit insane though.Bluebird (?) was waaay too gullible, like seriously?
Whatttttt?!? What was that ending?!? I was not expecting that!!! Seriously this is probably going to hands down be one of my favorite comics of 2021. I know I know that this is a Gordon book and readers technically don’t get Jokers perspective BUT it is a Joker book in essence because Gordon can’t get rid of his presence. The opposition is closing in on the Joker but does the clown prince have them right where he wants them?
Things are heating up for Jim Gordan. I think he caught up with the Joker at the wrong time. Timing is everything.

It just keeps getter better and better! The ending was so exciting! What will come next??? And even the punchline part of the story has two damn good clifhangers! issue #4 cannot come soon enough

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Omg, I actually lol'd at the Joker! Of course, by the time it happens, you know where it's going, but still. That's awesome. I love this series, seriously. It pays true respect to past stories and brings them to new life without the usual time needed for that level of character growth. One Bad Day. Perfect. And Joker... There's a lot to like about this. The artwork is great. It creates a lot of energy and captures the mood of the writing, especially the facial expressions. I really appreciate how different Tynion's storytelling is here compared to Batman. This is more of a character study of the Joker and Jim Gordon wrapped around a crime drama. Love the introspection.The Punchline story is dead weight in my opinion. It's not bad but feels so unnecessary next to the main story.
