I've finished all four books in this seriesThoroughly enjoyed this series and hope for a continuation soon. Full of suspense, the details of the area and the attention to each character makes these books hard to put down. I definitely recommend this author and his books!
I love this series so much. The characters live and breathe and the cases never seem to wrap up in the tidy (but unrealistic) bow that most other fictional police procedural / mysteries do. The detectives (and thus the readers) have to live with the frequently unsatisfying outcome left to them by the legal system. The satisfaction to this reader (and to the characters, I think) comes from knowing they've ferreted out the truth in their unique way.
