THANK FUCKING GOD
this is your chance of redemption after majesty
I...have so much to process....
OH, THANK GOD. My biggest issue with Majesty was that it felt incomplete and lacking as the conclusion to the series. I'm so happy the author was given the chance to write the third book and now I'm hoping the characters I had issues will get a change to redeem themselves 🙏🏼
12/20/21: Did I hate the second book of this series?Yes.Will I read the third one? Also yes.
Am I the only one who likes Teddy and Beatrice together? Can’t wait to see whats in store in this one!
This is the best book in the series yet!I absolutely devoured this third (and surprise!) installment in the American Royals series, and I cannot wait for the fourth and final book - and a physical copy of this one to reread. What I loved most about this book is that it has all the drama and romance and parties that the last two books had, but it expands the world greatly. We meet a ton of foreign monarchs and learn more about the structure of the world this world that has followed America's lead...
One of my all-time favorite contemporaries is getting a third book *cries in joy*
What a pleasant surprise! I really did not like book 1 in this series, but book 2 really pleasantly surprised me and I was hoping the series would continue on.But, PROTECT DAPHNE AT ALL COSTS.
I am not okay. I finished this book yesterday and I am still just dumbfounded at how this ended. I want to be mad, but also I'm not? Like the sheer audacity to set up a 4th book like this is great I won't lie but UGH. WHY. I wanted this book to have a gracious ending, and maybe that is my issue with it is that I didn't get what I wanted. I found myself wanting more throughout the middle of this book. It started to drag a little for me and really without any real substance or drama for my liking....
The drama amidst America's royal family continues in the third installment of American Royals. We get a glimpse into Beatrice as Queen, Sam as heir to the throne, Daphne continuing to fight for Jefferson, and Nina trying to live a normal life while still being a constant presence at the palace. One of my favorite things about YA texts is the subtlety used to address bigger issues. This novel is no different. Gender roles and power & privilege are two important topics that are continually discuss...
I think this is my favorite of the American Royals series! Katharine McGee continues to deliver in these books—and I’m going to be really upset if we don’t see a fourth installment after yet another huge cliffhanger ending. I finally felt like some of these characters experienced some introspection and growth, and I really enjoyed getting some side characters introduced in this book. I think KM is really hitting her stride with these characters. If this is the end, it’s a great way to go out. Bu...
Oh my, oh my....Hope this delivers what the second book didn't! Please KM close it good for once and all.
I AM SHOOK!!! Katharine McGee does it again. I have been obsessed with the American Royals series since the beginning and Rivals fully cemented my love for the books. While I was happy with where the epilogue to Majesty left us, I am so glad we are getting a third (and fourth...eek!) book. I love this world and these characters.Rivals picks up the summer after the end of Majesty. Beatrice is learning to rule without her father, while also deepening her relationship with Teddy. Nina and Samantha
