I really enjoy reading Jinx and company's adventures. This one is a doozy!People are out to kill her but they don't seem to be very effective (phew! I'd hate to have to start rooting for another main character) But there's a mystery afoot, and friendships and alliances are challenged, the overall series arc continues, and a satisfying individual book arc begins and concludes.The stakes are higher than just Jinx's life and figuring out what's going on and stopping it is the main focus of the book...

A nice end to the Glimmer series - Ms Harris does a great job of wrapping up all the outstanding plot threads from the previous books in unexpected (and occasional WTF?) ways. She also does a great job of setting up the next series, which I'm really looking forward to reading.Unfortunately, that's about all the review depth my brain is up to right now.

I'm disappointed that this final book is such a drag. I had to take a few days of reflection before deciding if I can give it proper commentary. Book 3 was the start of the decline, and 4 was the final nail in the coffin. I LOVE the first two books, so if you want to give this series a try, I suggest skipping 3 and 4.
