50 Shades of Life: Stories of the pandemic and before the pandemic

50 Shades of Life: Stories of the pandemic and before the pandemic

Roberto Livianu
0/5 ( ratings)
Leaving aside the harsh routine of a Public Attorney and trying to escape the eternal vigilance of the founder and president of the Instituto Não Aceito Corrupção, Roberto Livianu reveals himself to be curious of souls and hearts, an observer of the urban scene, a reporter of the everyday, of the trivial. After all, life is ordinary, isn’t it? Juba, Mariana, Genilson, Pedro Ricardo.... they are ordinary people, people like us, body and soul, who work hard, but happy with life, they are locked at home during the pandemic, around pots and pans, and spend their hard-earned buck on cheap cruises where the great pleasure is to eat, eat, eat. Who would dare to resist ‘all inclusive’? There is a bit of everything, from little Sofia, who discovers life and its multiple characters on board her mother’s car in the frantic traffic of São Paulo, to the fiery Paula Fernanda, who rediscovers life, after a broken marriage, in such torrid encounters as well as fun and discarded, thanks to the wonders of the internet. Thus, with fluid and unpretentious text, Livianu’s characters appear, so real and in situations that are sometimes unusual, sometimes not so much, and reading is easy, pleasant, without sadness, panic and startles. Just curiosity and pleasure. Life as it is. The human being as its uniqueness, or its best. Eliane Cantanhêde - journalist and TV presenter
