The Let's Learn to Read Play a-Sound Book helps children build reading skills through sight and sound. Designed for children just learning to read, the book features 10 stories and 30 sound buttons that help with pronunciation of words in the stories. Here are a few examples of the buttons:
The beginning sound c and the word ending -at, plus an illustrated button of a cat.
The beginning sound h and the word ending -op, plus an illustrated button of a pogo stick .
The beginning sound t and the word ending -en, plus an illustrated button of the number 10.
The 10 stories tell about everyday activities, such as playtime, snack time, and bedtime. As children read, they press the sound buttons to help them figure out the word. For a greater challenge, when kids press the buttons featuring illustrated objects, they are prompted to spell the word with the help of the sound buttons.

Safety tested for children ages 18 months and older, the Let's Learn to Read Play a-Sound Book conforms to the safety requirements of ASTM F963-08. Three replaceable long-life AG-13 button cell batteries that power the book are included.
