Well... I suppose if one's a kid one would appreciate this more than I did. I thought Teddy was delightful, eager, helpful, enthusiastic. I don't like the big bear growling and getting irritated. :-( Not Christmas-y. And everyone should know one takes spruces in through narrow passages root-end first. Not the top first.

The little bear waited for the Christmas party.
Ted is very excited for Christmas, he tries to help Big Bear with the preparations but ends up causing more problems. Big Bear is annoyed at first but realises Ted is only trying to help. A lovely story to read aloud around Christmas time with FS and KS1 children about children's excitement for that time of year.
The tactile pleasure in holding this book upped it a star. I love the cover. It's poofy and a delight to hold. I never knew I was such a tactile person until I started reading these children's books. A baby bear can bear-ly wait for Christmas :) and he keeps messing up everything he’s trying to help with to prepare for the special day. I feel for the Papa Bear, who is exasperated with Baby Bear’s continuous “is it Christmas yet?” 🤣
I watched the read aloud video of this book on YouTube by Little cub Literacy.Sam reads the book and I love the way she reads. The illustrations were awesome.A fun book about how kids get so impatient about Christmas.I would recommend this book to all the children around the world.

Sweet! Perfect for 3s and 4s...
Loved the illustrations, but the story is lacking.
I read this book to my 3 month old as a 25 days of Christmas reading tradition. It is a cute book. Teddy is so impatient for Christmas that it is so adorable. Teddy does his best to help prepare for the coming day. I really like the fun text as it helped me emphasize the story better and be more of an animated reader.
Those of us with children can all relate to this story where the little bear is always asking, "Is it Christmas yet?" after every little preparation they do to get ready for the holiday. Great story to read to those little ones who are always asking this question.

A little one is so excited for Christmas and the grown up in the story patiently explains he or she will have to wait. The little one falls asleep. Pretty cookie cutter but I can't dislike it because the bears are so cute.
