Far East Russian city of Vladivostok was a secret city that can not be foreigners that you enter as a base of the former Soviet Union Pacific Fleet until 1992. I, over twice in June 2008 and in September, visited. From facing Niigata Airport in the Sea of Japan, 90 minutes of standing in the jet. At the bottom of the intact culture of Eastern Europe, it was the farthest reaches of Europe. In fact, even nine years ago in 1999 I have visited. Even to go to market to everyone uneasy face, I was hated photography. It had completely changed after 9 years. Fashion building had become a big city full of situated vehicles. Young people can speak English, I was enjoying that taken photos.

極東ロシアの都市ウラジオストクは1992年まで旧ソ連太平洋艦隊の基地として外国人は立ち入ることできない秘密都市だった。2008年６月と9月に2度にわたり僕は訪れた。日本海に面した新潟空港からジェット機でたった90分。そこには東欧の文化がそのままの、最果てのヨーロッパだった。実は9年前の1999年にも訪れている。当時ソ連崩壊の影響で街は閑散としデパートのショーケースは空っぽだった。市場に行っても皆不安な顔をして写真撮影を嫌った。それが９年後にはすっかり変わりファッションビルが建ち車の溢れる大都会になっていた。若者たちは英語を話し写真を撮られることを楽しんでいた。
