3 Oit of 5 stars I kind of liked this book and I also thought that Mia should be a little bit more flexible. But it was just an okay read for me, the series alltogether are just okay. Just okay and well okay, hahaha.
Im crying.....That feeling when you finish not a book, but a series of books is the hardest. I will not lie, I did not expect this book to interest me so much. At the end of each month, you wanted to know what would happen next. The book on the end didn't look like a start, but I ended the last part with tears. No matter how much eroticism or something there was, the book was so engaging to you that you can’t stop read it. Like I say I don't regret buying this books. :)) All the time I was readi...
10 Series StarsI was given this book for my honest review. This is the final installment of The Calendar Girl Series and needs to read in order.Life isn’t about the journey but what you learn along the way. This is Mia’s true story. Forest Gump once said “Life is like a box of Chocolates you never know what your gonna get” This remains true as we set forth on Mia’s last month in her year long journey not to helping her father as in the beginning and paying off what needed to be paid but finding h...
Wonderful, heartwarming end to a fantastic series. These characters have become so much like friends over the past year that, it's going to be strange not to read about them every month!Trust me when I tell you, the author does a wonderful job of tying up the series, no loose ends to wonder about. Some of it you will applaud, some of it you will shake your head about (character decisions sometimes amaze me).Love thyself as I have loved thee comes to mind when I think of this series. It took Mia
Done with all 12 now!Loved it. It got better with each book. I laughed, cried.... Only the dirty sex talk was ewwww :))))
Mia goes to Aspen for a family Christmas and for her show. There is more family there than expected and Mia finally will get some closure. This is the final book in the Calendar Girl series and I have had an amazing journey with Mia, this series is one of the best I have ever read! I am sad to say goodbye to Mia and Wes and their friends and family! I especially loved the final epilogue catching up on everyone.
Finally done with this. I cannot wait to read something good now.
Glad it's wrapped up. The last few books were ok but not my fave. I liked the first books best.
To be honest, I'm glad that I finally finished this series. The last part wasn't anything special but I enjoyed it and it was fun to see how everything came together.
Loved the final book!
December is my favorite in this series and one my favorite series finale books from 2015. Reading it made me feel sentimental about the holidays ( something I lacked this year) and ushered forth some pent up tears and heavy sighs. What happened? Well, something about Wes finally broke through in this one. Suddenly I saw what Mia (and most of the other CG series readers) must have been seeing and experiencing. I don’t think I felt his relaxed and playful side since the initial meeting in January.
This month is the month of the emotions and marks the end of everything. It forces Mia to face her past, making peace with him so that in the present she can live more serene and thus her future can be promising. The author also gives us the information about what happened to each important character in this series, which I found very good. And now I can say goodbye to Mia?!
Star Rating: 5 stars Oh.My.God Yes. This is the ending to all books and I loved it! The struggles and truths that have happened all through this series are all incorporated and ended and explained in this last book. I truly loved this series and applaud audrey for her writing and for this series. I will definitely need these on PB to add to my collection because I loved them so much. Give this series a go! I hope you will love it as much as I have.Michele Y
Did the author have amnesia? Mia started the series at 25 years old and was still 25 years old in December. Meanwhile her sister started at 19 and ended at 21? The smell of Whiskey that she hated in book one, Mia was drinking in book 3? 4M was never explained although our was set up as if it would be? Clearly 4M meant For the Four M's in her life (Maddy, Max, Mia and Millie) But the character wasn't smart enough to catch on!?! And is she 5'8 or 5'9? Millie never met her sister? And how is it her...
This book is bittersweet! What an awesome end to a year-long serial! 12 months of new storylines and characters that this beautiful author dreamed up! I became very invested in this story & characters and am sad it's ended. But in true Audrey fashion she sends it off with a bang!!"I knew even then, that she could be the end of me. What I didn't know, though, was that she was also the beginning and the middle. I didn't want to know a world that Mia wasn't in. She made the dark days light, the har...
My heart is full, right now. Full of emotion and satisfaction over having read this story that has evolved so beautifully from sexy fun to a wholesome emotional adventure. My calendar is complete. A whole year! And I'm going to miss it.My beloved Wes and Mia have come full circle. He's dealing with this trauma in a much healthier way while Mia has another successful go at her new job filming segments for TV about what beauty is in people's lives. Their bond is deeply touching. Yet for Mia there'...
This was the perfect ending to the series! And once I finished it left me feeling happy with how everything for wrapped up. In this last episode Mia goes to a cabin in a mountain town to interview some local artists and spend Christmas there. Mia gets a surprise when she arrives there and there is one more issue to deal with. I could understand why she handled things the way she did and it must be difficult for her to deal with that. I did think it explained a lot and gave us one more piece to u...
Beautifully Brilliant!DECEMBER, while the last instalment in this yearlong saga of a young woman forced to bear the weight of her parent’s bad decisions, is anything but the end.Through the months, readers have seen the term “Trust the Journey” on many an occasion, but the journey was just the beginning. For Mia’s journey would open her heart to not only trusting others and trusting in herself, but most importantly, and the root of her darkest fear, was learning to trust in love.Through heartach...
Oh my god... She did it. The prefect ending to a journey that has left me breathless... She wrote the perfect December. 12/29/15 @The Book Reading Gals:It’s so unreal to think that this serial has gone on for a year! And what a rollercoaster year it has been for Mia and those that love her! I was in a little bit of denial that this journey was coming to an end so I didn’t know how I wanted things to wrap up, I just knew I wanted my HEA… Audrey Carlan did it! The perfect ending to a journey that
I'm so glad to have been able to go with Mia on her journey. Since the series began in January I have followed her story with it's ups and downs waiting for her to get her HEA and boy does she ever. This book was wonderful and made things come full circle. Mia started out alone and by the end of the series she has a amazing group of family and friends to depend on. It just goes to show that things can change quickly in mysterious and wonderful ways. Loved the ending and the where are they now po...
