First Light, Last Hope

For Commander Foster it was supposed to have been a simple vacation, a re-entry into the civilian world after years of serving in the military. A man-made place beyond description where anything you could imagine or have ever dreamed of was right there in front of you. All you had to was "think" of it But something arrived there about the same time as he did and all of his training, all of his combat experience, all of his life experience could not even begin to prepare him for what he is about to encounter. A lethal enemy that defies the most sophisticated detection systems, that strikes as silently as the most elite warrior and never leaves a single trace they were ever there - you'll never hear them coming nor will you even have a second to cry out for help. In time Comm. Foster will uncover an ally who together they will try to determine what has happened and what can be done to start saving lives. However, in only a short amount of time they will cruelly discover that there are no actions they can take that will spare them from the fate of others before them. The word "vacation" just went out the window for Commander Foster. This so called "vacation" has just exceeded his worst nightmare. It has even become detrimental to his health and it be long before he knows the unbelievable true reason as to "why".
