INSIDE THE MIND OF A KILLER - ISSUE #31 & #32 It was fascinating , Deathstroke being sent on a mission to kill Lois , Superman facing Slade . It was all just so fascinating and then the final page reveal , which granted I saw coming , nonetheless , it was quite entertaining . The art on full page panels were beautiful , but most panels were mediocre to look at for me .
I liked this issue a lot better than the first part. I think the ending with Amanda Waller was cool, but the minute it showed Slade talking to a shadowy figure I guessed it was her. Overall this wasn’t a bad mini-arc, but there have been other ones that are better. Hopefully the next arc with Lex Luther will be better.
#32 – Breaking Point (Part 2) So Deathstroke is actually an old man working for Waller!
Breaking Point part 2-Deathstroke tries to pushes Superman to the brink of no return by threatening Lois Lane life.
Interesting issue but in the end, pointless. We found out nothing more than we already knew. Superman won't kill and he loves his family... it didn't really seem like Deathstroke had it in him to push Superman to the limits.
You've got to appreciate a good story that's revealed to be a prelude for things to come.
Somehow, I'm not surprised about who hired Slade to go after Lois Lane. Even at the beginning of this issue I knew that killing her probably wasn't the goal. It was all just a mind game to test Superman. I do like issues like this that leave me wondering who is behind everything, though.
