New Orleans Nightmare

New Orleans Nightmare

Craig M. Sampson
0/5 ( ratings)
Michelle does not believe in anything she cannot touch, smell, hear, or see. The existence of anything even slightly related to the paranormal or in the psychic realm causes her great amusement if not outright derision of those who do. Her rapid advance in the academic world at Tulane University is interrupted when two old childhood friends from Virginia arrive in town to pursue their own individual professional pursuits; Ellen in music and Nancy, a psychologist, for the Southeastern Paranormal Research Institute.
More on a dare than anything else, Michelle accepts a proposition from Nancy for a live demonstration of how the classic Ouija board is not just for parlor games and entertainment. A slight misstep in intent pushed the three women on a path of no return into the paranormal arena as Nancy connects with a spirit she had not intended to….one with a long history of revenge and malevolence.
Initially, Michelle refuses to acknowledge what has occurred, primarily from her own doing, as she challenges the manifested spirit to prove its existence and she and her childhood friends struggle to escape the attention of the emanation that has attached itself to them
But as time goes by and the situation grows more and more dire, Michelle comes to the realization that not all things can be explained with her high intellect and scientific background. Whether or not she has made this insight in time is up for grabs…….
