Henderson is second to none in transportation facilities. U. S. High way No. I, U. S. Highway 158, and several state highways are lending to the advantages of Henderson and leading to its advancement. It is served by the main line of the Seaboard Airline Railway, and a branch line of the Southern Railway System. The Atlantic Greyhound Bus Corporation operates 36 buses through Henderson daily. An airport suitable for private or executive type planes is available. The Raleigh Durham Airport, with regular scheduled airlines to all points in the country, is only a 50 minute drive from Henderson.
