Definitely better than book one but still a lot of misspelled words. 3.5 stars
Can the next book be out now?!?!? I love this series. It is unique and the author has created a world that just keeps expanding but never gets overpowering in the story. It is more natural and fluid. The characters were fantastic. Sadie was great she starts out unsure but quickly goes after what she wants. I want more stories with them.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
ugh....I was so hoping it would be better than the first. It started to go south with yet again another over the top bizarre restaurant scene followed by never ending details.....I lost interest and fast forwarded stopping right at another over the top ‘coincidence’ of Chugge. Make it stop please..
2021 READ : 5 STARS!Book 0 - two novellas that talk about what happened during the first batch of matched couples (from Earth and Crakair). It was steamy (of course) and funny especially during physical exploration of the two species. Book 1 - Vork and Evie's story was longer. It showed the culture of the Crakairs living in the capital city. It also showed conflicts within its political realm, though it was not really that detailed. Not all Crakairns accepted the presence of the Earth females in...
Two broken souls who long for a family find each other across the galaxy.. 4.5 stars!Another fabulous alien rom-com by Ava Ross! One of my favorite things about Ava's writing is how she capitalizes on the differences between alien and human culture with humor and ease. She also highlights just how nonsensical the English language is, while making a giant green alien appear endearing yet unerringly cocky. Males will be males on any planet, I suppose. Another great read, and I am thoroughly lookin...
4.5 stars!!Loved Sadie and Bryk! Great chemistry! Hot sexy action! FMC was much stronger than Evie from book one which was a great change up. Villain was better established in this book making a stronger connection for me as a whole. Bryk did not let me down he was phenomenal! Lots of cute sass and miscommunications throughout which gave me a giggle at times making this read so much more enjoyable. If you want HOT romance! Grab it!Happy reading, DD💕
Bryk, an ex military Crakair male, now a farmer with his son, gets his matched mate from Earth. He's only hoping for someone to care for, even without a mate bond, so he never expects the mate mark/mate bond to hit them the minute they touch. Sadie is flabbergasted when it happens and Beyond immediately tosses her on his shoulder. He's late to meet her, luckily her friend who had been chosen by the Prince was there to keep her company, but another alien, a four armed blue male, keep staring at he...
Quick(ish) ReviewIt was fine. A little more exciting towards the end, otherwise pretty low angsty. The story needed a bit more character development and less dependence on the screwed up English sayings. But it’s ok.
I was gifted a copy of Bryk by Ava the author, all thoughts are completely my own Bryk is a widowed father just looking for companionship and a mother to love his 8 year old son Weld. Sadie is a widow who applied to be a human bride for a alien on a dare. This book is a standalone alien romance (but also works with a series) with no cheating and a guaranteed happy ending. If you like aliens (I'm talking aliens who actually look alien. Green, extra appendages, tails ect), fierce women, sexy fun t...
Vork's friend (and the dude who always has his back), Bryk has entered the Selection and now has Evie's BFF as his intended. Things move quickly for Bryk and Sadie. As in, they do the matebond lightshow thing with their hands after their first meeting. Which is good, but also a little scary for two people who have both lost their significant others in the past. But what the matebond wants, the matebond gets. Or something like that. Let's just say that these two dive into courting (bypassing a few...
This is a super fun alien romance! I loved it! It is a whirlwind romance with lots of danger, action and adventure..I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Best one yet I enjoyed Bryk and Sadies story. I was looking forward to this one and was wondering how it would be handled and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m glad the drama wasn’t too drawn out. I’m glad Bryk wasn’t too stupid in his handling of his mate. For some reason these warriors lose their minds and stop thinking rationally when it comes to their mates safety. I’m very happy we got to see a little bit more of Julia and Axil and Vork and Evie. Evie and Sadie had a nice little reunion and I was
4&1\2terrific 🌟's for book 2 of the Crakair mail order brides.💖Bryk lost his mate to the great virus and since that defining moment he's spent all his time raising his beloved son. All he wants is a companion and someone who would make a good mother figure for his son. He's not looking for love until the sensor he sets his eyes on Sadie. Sadie is Evie's best friend that both signed up for the mail order brides and didn't think they would be matched. Well Evie found her true love with Vork but Sa...
After finishing the first book just a few hours ago, I had such high hopes for this story. I loved the idea of this father, wanting companionship and a mother for his child, trying to woo her into staying. And I loved Sadie from the first book, I thought she was going to make an awesome lead character. But alas, I'm afraid this story just kind of fell short for me... I don't know if maybe my expectations were just really high after the first story but I found myself skimming the first 70% of it....
