Show stopping, I loved this book!! The fake dating trope??? Nate is so sexy, I loved him, I can’t wait for the next book. The rich girl/poor boy trope?? I loved that, the favour for a favour oh my goddd.
If I was a book character I would have been Kris Carrera no doubt.
On the surface, Kris Carerra is the quintessential rich girl. Spending the summer in her family’s Beverly Hills home, she is on relatively short leash while her father is away on business. She is to make nice with daddy’s soon to be wife and keep a summer job or she loses not only her credit cards… but the possibility of her inheritance she is to come into at the age of 23 could be negatively adjusted. I loved getting Kris' and Nate's story and it's so cute, fun and steamy! I'd say not quite as good as the first 2 books, but still 5 star worthy.
It took me a few chapters to feel any sort of way about Kris I knew some of what she was like from the previous books but I thought we would get a deeper insight once we got her story but that wasn’t the case in the first chapters. Her inner monologue was vain and a bit off-putting but the more involved she became with Nate and the deeper the connection between them grew the more she opened up she grew into a better version of herself that I loved.Kris and Nate had an instant connection the bant...
4.0. Did not realize Kris was a Filipina, was very fun because this was very much like a soap I caught on TFC. I like that Ana Huang writes Asian protagonists and they are, indisputably, Asian and it's present in the story but it's not the whole story. Received this free ARC in exchange for an review. So after reading and loving "If We Ever Meet Again" & "If the Sun Never Sets" I honestly thought I was gonna so love this book as well but sadly I didn't. While the book started off strong and we had some great banter. The chapter breaks really through me off, plus the plot points and shock value fell flat for me. I did like that Kris wasn't your usual Heroine she wasn't all rainbow and butterflies, and Nate was a good son/brother. The sex scenes...

Omg omg finally got to know pieces of Kris and Nate's story and it was just beautiful and did I mentioned I absolutely love Ana for creating this series?
