this was so good! i devoured it in one sitting!🔥 brothers best friend🔥 hates everyone but her🔥 grumpy/sunshinethe chemistry was off the charts between these characters and it had a much darker & action-packed plot then i was expecting but i loved that! i can't wait to read the next book in the series (which is going to be a princess/bodyguard romance!)

I am so sad that I read this one and didn't love it. Unfortunately, so much didn't work for me. I feel like the pacing of this one was a bit odd and we missed out on a lot of development of the relationship between Alex and Ava. Alex is this brooding rich guy who is watching over his best friend's sister. They fall into a relationship pretty fast and I wanted to watch more of their little moments and development. We skipped over a lot of that I felt like it went from like to love a bit too fast....
