Cordwainer Smith was one of the most dazzling authors of Science Fiction of all time. Creator of a unique and coherent universe, he envisioned a civilization that would span 15,000 years. He came up with bold and disturbing ideas — for example, the genetic modification and creation of human beings; possessor of a unique, strange poetics, often dark and provocative. The man named “Cordwainer Smith” at age 17 represented the Chinese government before the White House. He then had some talks with Mao Zedong and wrote speeches to Eisenhower and Kannedy. Professor of politics and intelligence agent, he keyed his science fiction novels and stories. In this book, the first that was dedicated to his life and his work, some are there are the Kennedys, Martin Luther King, Marilyn Monroe and all the international politics of their time. Today it is reissued, in Spanish and soon in English.
