Absolutely amazing Story is like Cinderella but with a twist. Lots of action and magic throughout the story. Love that this isn't a prince saves the girl and they are instantly in love. Great character building for most of the characters involved.
This is a fantastic fantasy/paranormal romance.. I really enjoyed it.. It is magical and romantic, a bit dark and dangerous.. Very appealing characters!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Interesting plot - weak and rushed ending. I liked where it was going through out but I couldn’t get behind the Incredibly rushed ending. I’m herFor a HEA but 75% of the book built up to a let down.
I stopped reading about 40% of the way through. I couldn’t get into it. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just too slow for me and the characters felt a little surface deep only, the female lead too gullible.
An entertaining light read. Better written than I expected Better written than I expected- a light read but fun. Nothing hot or,heavy, here but the character building is quite, good for the, female MC.

The premise of the story built around the pendant was interesting and even I found it’s powers remarkable as time goes on when it’s around Isla’s neck. The whole fae and magic aspect pulls you in as well. Thane, a fae was the prince of the dark fae people and soon to be king.
This is so beautifully written. The descriptions of the places and people, the palaces and village are so tangible you can feel as though you are seeing them for yourself. I loved this. Isla has always been a bit different and she's not quite sure why. She has not had an easy life but she has worked hard and it is not for want of trying. She once found a necklace in a fountain when she was young, not long after the death of her mother. She knows she should have handed it over at some point but s...

This might be my favourite book by this author, I definitely didn't want to put it down once I'd started it.Isla lives with her sister Lily, they are humans in a world where humans are seen as lowly as animals by the Fae. They live in the realm of the Light Fae, "the good Fae" and are brought up to fear the Dark Fae. Lily and Isla lead good lives for humans as they're talented seamstresses but that doesn't mean life is easy or kind, they live in fear of the Light Fae. Isla is found to have a mag...
this could’ve been amazingTHIS WAS SO AMAZING. But the near ending was rushed along, the story lost its pace, and it dealt a mighty blow to the rating. I liked the writing. Devin can seriously write some steamy stuff with little effort. Seriously. But the story!I LOVE the idea. I love the story and what transpired. I think the pace was off, that the beginning and the time spent in the other kingdom didn’t match the snowball ending. I think a lot of things were rushed, and that’s a major bummer b...
I really enjoyed Prince of the Dark Fae, it’s a Fantasy filled with the machinations of Light and Dark Fae steeped in a world of magic that is ensconced within an imaginative and perfectly paced story. Well written with an engaging storyline of humans forbidden to use magic while kept subservient to their Fae masters it is both stirring and intense. Born into this world human Isla will one day soon become the catalyst for bringing about great change within the Fae realm while finding unexpected
Isla finds a golden locket when she was ten years old that bonded with her and protects her from fae magic. Thane, a dark fae prince, had dropped the locket and comes looking for it thirteen years later. When the Silvermoore king and queen realize that she has it she is banished from their court. Prince Thane instantly claims ownership of her and the protection of his kingdom Raglith. He wants the locket back so that he have repair his kingdom and he has to wed Isla if he wants to become king. T...
okThis book was definitely an interesting spin on Cinderella and Faye. Isla and her sister are human and they are treated like crap by the fae. Unlike Cinderella, Isla doesn’t have a faerie godmother to give her magic she finds a pendant that does that instead. Then she gets cast out of the light fae court and is claimed by the dark fae Prince. The story was cute and it’s good for a light read.
