I was surprised by how much I liked thisA slow moving book but I liked it overall, who doesn’t love a competing for marriage trope(especially with supernaturals)? Some interesting lore was createdA little spice after 50%I often wanted to shake Reyna because of her unwillingness to see beyond what she thought she knewI’m looking forward to the next book and I hope Reyna and Elias truly get to know each other
What? No you can't finish there! I need the next book now! This is definitely my favourite book by this author and I've really enjoyed the other books I've read by her. Reynar is a wonderfully strong character but she's had a life of emotional abuse and she can trust in the wrong places, fighting those she should embrace. I got so exasperated with her at times when she really went against what would be best for her but where would the story be if she did what was best all the time? Elias is a gre...
I cant believe the hero is 25 she behaves like she's 5 years old with her hissy fits and secrets. Elias was amazing but dear God Reyna is the most dumbest, selfish, airhead I've read in a while.
This is a great story so far! It has a well developed plot, great characters, great interactions and is hard to put down. Our heroine just wants to get out from under her father to map the world; unfortunately, some things just don't go her way! You might not think it would be all that bad with an alpha King bound to make her his and making new friends and alliances; maybe it's not. Is Reyna going to give up her dreams of following the maps of the world or will her dreams change? What is going t...
Reyna of Daybreak is chosen to represent her pack and compete to be the Wolf King’s choice for a consort. She has no interest in competing in the Choice challenges but has to attend or her father will lose his kingdom. She is determined to visit the kingdom of the Wolf King, lose all of the challenges, not be chosen and return home to her beloved Griffin. Of course she captures the interest of the Wolf King right away… so going back home won’t be so easy for her. There are several twists, turns,
VirginWolf shiffterMate Those words in the blurb enticed me enough to try my first read from this author. But unfortunetly this book is far from my expectation regarding those enticing words. Lets just say this book is too tame for me. İts too sweet like a clean historical romance would. Too much dress being describe, stroll to the garden with other ladies, lots of libraries. Basicly too dragging for a savage wolf shiffter king and his Virgin mate kinda story. Making the chemistry between the H/...
goodThis book definitely held my attention throughout but I did not really like the cliffhanger at the end. Reyna is a wolf shifter who never really lets her wolf out to play and has a father that is a duke who doesn’t really want anything to do with her. Reyna’s bother send her to a different wolf court to be part of a kings choice challenge that will help him pick his future bride and queen. Reyna plans to do her best to lose the challenge so she can go home and live with the men wolf shifter
I started off really engrossed and loving this book. It checked all my boxes - unwanted marriage? Check. Shifters? Check. Court and intrigue? Check and Check—ish. I found myself really disliking Reyna and not understanding her motivation towards the end of the book. In the beginning, it was tolerable, but towards the end it made no sense to me. The author would have us to believe that she’s a regal and diplomatic, smart powerhouse but she refuses to use any of those skills with Elias. I dislike
