Even though I have been blogging for three years, Steve Scott's ebooklet was a concise, practical, helpful, and reinforcing guide that provided useful tips I plan to use. He offers a list of 19 options for blog post types along with title examples, a scheduling approach for those who need tools to stay disciplined, excellent tips for writing readable posts, and a number of blog enrichment tools. This booklet is one in a series and for 99 cents you can't go wrong. There is a bit more pitching of
Good Reading for a novice or an experience bloggerThe author created an excellent structure of what, when and how to create a blog. The instructions are simple with a lot of examples and reference. It is good to create a scheduler to built your blog, which is the first time that I see this technique of planning. The book is not long, but provide a lot of information for a blogger.
A great resource and quick read. The author makes it simple to take notes on his suggestions, make checklists for yourself, and get busy writing blog posts.
SteveWhile overall ebook was easy to read and packed with tons of information. For me there was no follow through on how to create this content. I'm blogger in field of millions and while I think my blog is different in reality it's just like the others. I got this book in hopes of was more of an how to in laymans terms.
Good ideas to increase post effectiveness geared toward existing bloggersThis book had a lot of good ideas for systematically turning out solid content. Geared for those with existing blogs, it is still a good read for those starting out to ensure solid content from day one.
short read with great info Great short read packed full of useful information to start writing your first blog. At the end of the the author also recommends other readings that could be useful.
This is a useful little guide for creating a blog. Even if you're doing it for fun, you may want to create a publishing schedule and collect data on your posts (like unique page views, social media shares, and comments). This helps you keep track of your posts, topics, and reader engagement. As you identify a pattern in what readers like to see, you can improve your writing and selection of topics.
For the most part, this was decent.I’m a copy and content writer, and I was looking for insight on how to analyse the metrics. That’s touched on for a few pages, but I still enjoyed the rest. If nothing else, it’s inspired me to have a play around with some of the types of blog posts the author has mentioned. There’s a lot of basic ideas here but it’s fantastic for someone who hasn’t started blogging yet or is relatively new. A solid guide. I liked it.
Another quick read that is full of valuable informationSteve knows how to put out useful information and pack it into a quick guide. If you are a blogger, or want to be a blogger, and you need some tips on creating a steady stream of good blog posts, this guide is for you.
InformativeAn enjoyable and informative read right to the point was able to provide excellent examples to support each one of the examples that was providers. Will be giving them a try, along with his other read; thank you.
Informative and concise I found this book very helpful. It is easy to read and digest the information. I was able to identify what I am doing well and how to improve the areas of my blog writing that need work.
What a fantastic book! One of the best tools for blogging that I've read to date. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a blog or is thinking of starting one.
So much value packed in one small, well-written ebook! I was pleasantly surprised to find that this book, rather than reiterating more of the same unhelpful and vague stuff I've read countless times on the internet, actually answered many of my questions and delivered on the title's promise. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is already blogging or intends to blog in the near future.
Unbelievable simple and wonderful inforThis book contains some insights and simplest ways to make a blog great. Goona try some of the tips and tricks mentioned.PromdeEpicblogging.com
Lots of good tipsThis is a short book that is packed with good information. No weeding through unneeded filler. Just information you can use.
A quick read with some helpful hints. Much of it is common sense for someone with a writing background, but there are some good suggestions for online tools someone just starting out may not have heard of. Or if someone has been blogging for a while and wants to take things more seriously they should find some nuggets of wisdom on how to do so.
I gave three stars because blogging is not my cup of tea. This book may be useful to bloggers. In my view, this book is like the content commonly available on the internet. Not worth to read as a book.
Great starting pointA short read to get your feet wet into blogging for readership ( and hopefully money). Enjoyed reading this short guide.
