Wasteland - 2491 A.D. Volume 2

Wasteland - 2491 A.D. Volume 2

James L. Shipman II
2.5/5 ( ratings)
This is a post-apocalyptic novel set in Nuked New Mexico in the year 2491 A.D. It draws inspiration and imagination from such works as the Gamma World RPG by Jim Ward and Gary Jaquet, and the novels The Long Afternoon of Earth by Brian Aldiss, Starman's Son by Andre Norton, Death Lands by James Axler, Dark is the Sun by Philip Jose Farmer, Dark Future novels by David Pringle & Jack Yeovil, Hiero's Journey by Sterling Lanier, as well as Ralph Bakshi's animated feature film Wizards.

Famine. Death. War. Pestilence. These are all said to be the harbingers of the biblical apocalpyse--Armaggedon. But now that it has happened, and we crawl from the wreckage, we must ask ourselves a question: where did it all go wrong? Is history merely a sequence of unconnected events, or is there a guiding force? Or is the truth somewhere between those two answers? In the wake of the great cataclysm, there are survivors--and this post-apocalyptic story continues with them.
